How to make iced lemongrass tea
3 min read · By the Ellara Ceylon team

Lemongrass is naturally caffeine-free and tastes bright and clean over ice. This makes about one liter.
- Put 2 tablespoons (about 8 g) of dried lemongrass in a heatproof jug.
- Pour over 1 liter of boiling water and steep for 8 minutes.
- Strain. Stir in honey or sugar while the tea is still warm, if you like.
- Cool, then chill for at least an hour.
- Serve over ice with a squeeze of lime and a mint sprig.
Brew it stronger than you would drink it hot, because the ice will dilute it.
